yet more progress

It’s been a very busy few weeks since I last blogged and I just haven’t found time or the extra energy to.

So here is another photo dump of the progress I remembered to take pictures of. There are a million and one things to do and I’ve probably missed a few.

And yep we did have another tool death, after refurbishing 1.5 houses and chopping up loads of firewood over 12 years the mitre saw ate its new bushes in a day. RIP little fella.

We’ve also received official notification from the council to fix 50 meters of hedge and railings that are encroaching on the highway (footpath). 🙄

The fine spring weather has had two affects. Firstly we could get outside and remove the horrible sunlight to living room blocking plastic canopy. And get to the bottom of the valley gutter we assumed correct had blocked and allowed water to back up and rot the timber in the corner. Thankfully we have been lucky again and the structure has escaped rot with just the bottom few inches of board and facia affected and fairly easy replaced. And secondly the nice weather has also brought out the idiots at our other house so D has made the decision to move into the new house now to avoid them. Hopefully the doggos will settle as we crack on …
