We had a pretty hectic weekend including a couple of long days at the swan rescue helping with the big annual clean so pace of work ripping out all the diy additions has slowed slightly.
We have the plumbers coming Friday so we have some time to get ready for them to remove most of the radiators so we can get out what is behind them and mount them more securely. Some are held up only by hope I think.
Yesterday I put some temporary lighting into most areas as the clocks have changed and the night is drawing in.
Then I spent about 4 hours vacuuming… we have created rather a lot of dust.
Last night before I went to sleep I wandered around the house and took some pictures. We are definitely getting to the point where we can think about what we want to do and put back in.
And then today we had a nice surprise as we lifted the chipboard floor we thought was covering a bigger arena missing hardwood floor. We’ll take that a a big win!
