exercise
My watch “thinks” belting around the house looking for tools is exercise and it’s AI recorded it as an Activity.

Considering today was supposed to be a day off and we mucked out the swans at the rescue this morning, we got quite a lot done today.
We have moved focus to prepping the kitchen. Our builder is collecting some secondhand maple flooring tomorrow to fill the gaps we have around the house, hopefully by the middle of next week. So we’ve been prepping the walls and ceiling in the kitchen, ready to start fitting the freestanding kitchen units soon after.

After Donna, Jane and Doggos went back to the other house leaving me here to carry on I pulled out the horrible flimsy louvre doors and doorway in the passageway. We will probably put another doorway back there but it looks a whole lot better with it gone!

It didn’t go without a fight though. It stuck a big splinter into my right index finger. Of course although I have tweezers I couldn’t get it out and there are no needles. Thankfully when I went down the village shop the chap working there let my grab a safety pin out of their first aid box. What a star. And I was able to route around and get the splinter out and crack on again.

I found some LED GU10 bulbs to replace the halogen fire hazards so now I feel comfortable leaving the lights on.

My watch was right I had over exerted myself today so I settled down with a TV dinner which was wonderful.

Then I spent the evening researching stud finders … with a beer or two.
