Clearing and Cleaning

So today went well. Save for the boiler springing a leak. It needs a good flush and full service anyway so I’ll see if I can find a professional tomorrow.

We decided to leave most of the second bar in so D has a crafting area in the conservatory. Bar No1 will become my study music room.

The bar is in a shonky pvc plastic conservatory tucked under a large overhang in house roof. It’s all a bit “temporary” and long term we’ll probably remove it all. The standout feature is the windows next to bar are the master bedroom’s only windows that open into the bar area. Bedroom has no other windows (to fresh air) 😬

The whole bar was a big bodge (so we stripped out the old fridge and cupboard doors) but just look at the wiring 😬 Thank dog I have a trusted sparky ⚡️

D had a blitz of all the floors so they are clean and lovely now. And between us we got most of the old beds and random bit of wood etc out of the house to the car port.

The dogs still aren’t very comfortable in the house so slept in the car while we worked.

They did come in to the huge living room for a snack and a cuddle in the late afternoon sun. They’ll come round, it just doesn’t smell or feel like “their place” yet. But hopefully as we clear away the stuff that isn’t ours, and bring over some of our furniture for them to chill on they will feel more comfortable.
